1. The Service

DOQENT is an AI-powered productivity platform for teachers, operated by DOQENT (Slovenia). It helps teachers with grading, lesson planning, document generation, and classroom administration.

2. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential
  • One account per person - do not share credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old (teachers only)

3. Acceptable Use

Use DOQENT for its intended purpose: teaching, grading, lesson planning, and classroom administration.

You agree NOT to:

  • Share your account or API keys with unauthorized persons
  • Copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the platform
  • Scrape or automatically extract data from the platform
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to circumvent security

4. AI Features

DOQENT uses AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for grading, lesson generation, and document creation. These features use YOUR API key (Bring Your Own Key model).

  • You are responsible for your own API key and its associated costs
  • AI-generated content (grades, lessons, documents) is advisory - always review before use
  • AI photo grading provides confidence scores - you must verify and approve all grades

5. Student Data

You may enter student information (names, grades, incidents) into DOQENT. This data is stored in our EU-hosted database and is only accessible to you.

As a teacher, you are the data controller for student data you enter. Ensure you have the appropriate legal basis (school policy, parental consent) to process student information digitally.

6. Intellectual Property

  • DOQENT platform, interface, and features are owned by DOQENT
  • Content you create (lesson plans, documents, assessments) belongs to you
  • AI-generated content is provided for your use - you may use it freely in your teaching

7. Payments & Subscription

DOQENT offers a subscription model at EUR 8.99/month per teacher. Payment is processed via Stripe. A 14-day free trial is available.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period. No partial refunds.

8. Limitation of Liability

DOQENT is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding a claim. AI-generated grades and content are advisory and must be reviewed by you.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting privacy@doqent.ai. Your data will be removed within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with prior notice except in cases of serious violation.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Slovenian law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent court in Slovenia. EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
